The class of canines will learn everything from basic obedience to safe, proper behaviors in public places. Eventually, each dog will begin to learn specific tasks tailored to meet the unique needs of a veteran with PTS or TBI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn average of 20 American veterans commit suicide each day, and an estimated 670,000 dogs are euthanized in U.S. animal shelters every year,\u201d said American Humane President and CEO Dr. Robin Ganzert. \u201cWith the support of Kriser\u2019s Natural Pet, American Humane\u2019s Shelter to Service program will save lives of adoptable, abandoned animals and harness the power of the human-animal bond to help our nation\u2019s veterans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kriser\u2019s and Kriser\u2019s Approved food and supplies brands came together to donate 3-months supply of natural food, natural treats, dog beds and other essential supplies to help these pups through their rigorous training.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Kriser\u2019s is proud to\u00a0helping save lives on both ends of the leash!
