Remember, they are sensitive pieces of skin and vital to keep soft and healthy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Here are Brad Kriser\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Top Three Tips<\/strong>\u00a0about what to do with your pet on the hot pavement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid the hottest part of the day when the sun is beating down on the asphalt. Rule of thumb: if you can\u2019t put your hand on the ground, don\u2019t put his or her paws on it either. Your best bet is limited exposure.<\/li>\n<li>If you are planning to hit the streets, try out\u00a0<strong>Pawz Booties<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Musher\u2019s Secret<\/strong>\u00a0to help protect paws. Just like the salt and sand in the winter, the hot pavement can cause irritation on the paws.
